For sale is my dream-build Brompton, created as the ultimate central-city cruiser—effortless to carry through stations, refined to ride, and intentionally low-key in appearance while featuring state-of-the-art, high-quality upgrades throughout including 3D print titanium and carbon components.

This build blends classic Brompton aesthetics with modern performance, resulting in a bike that is both understated and special.

Build Concept

This bike was designed to rival the lightest current Brompton offering—the T Line One (Single Speed) at 7.45 kg—while delivering superior ride quality and smoother momentum when cruising.

The goal was to maintain the classic, original Brompton silhouette, but elevate it with thoughtful component choices and refined detailing. It is a bike that feels special without being flashy.

Colour & Finish

·      A bespoke gloss raw lacquer finish with Turkish Green highlights, complemented by carefully balanced accents in black, gold, cream, blue, and purple.

·      The main frame, front fork and rear triangle have been shot-blasted and powder-coated in gloss clear lacquer, whilst the stem lower hinge joint is refinished in Turkish Green.

·      Unlike typical raw lacquer builds, this one intentionally uses less gold and leans into green, blue, and purple tones, giving it a distinctive yet tasteful character.

Condition

·      The main frame, front fork and rear triangle with limited mileage since the respray (There is some light patina on the frame, consistent with careful use, but nothing significant)

·      The stem has never been ridden after powder coating

·      New joint pins installed, with no excessive play in the folding mechanism

·      Inner frame tubes treated with Bilt Hamber Dynax UB Firm Film anti-corrosion wax for long-term protection

·      Aside from the wheelset, saddle, crankset, bb, tensioner and stem catcher knob, all remaining components are new, unused, and uninstalled prior to this build

·      The bottom bracket has been chased and faced

Shipping

The bike will be packed in its original Brompton box, complete with all original packing materials, just as you would expect when purchasing a brand-new bike. This ensures maximum protection during transit.

Free Parcel Force 24 postage is included for UK buyers. I am also happy to ship worldwide at the buyer’s expense. The parcel will be fully insured and sent via a tracked service for peace of mind.

Modification 

This MY 2018 Brompton has undergone a no-expense-spared, complete transformation. The frame has been fully custom powder coated, with new hinge pins installed, and the bike has been comprehensively upgraded using some of the lightest and most premium components available worldwide. Upgrades include 14g foam grips, a Darimo T1 seatpost, an AX Lightness full carbon saddle, Brombacher POM titanium pedals, a Ridea CNC chain tensioner and jockey wheels, Cane Creek eeBrake G4, RideNow TPU inner tubes, and Extralite Ultralever 3 brake levers, JCP Custom 3D Print Titanium Bridge for EE Brake among other high-end components.

Equipped with higher-profile 38mm carbon wheels, a full ceramic-bearing drivetrain (wheelset, bottom bracket and jockey pulley), and a top-tier braking system, it delivers an astonishing riding experience—effortless on acceleration, composed when stopping, and smooth and efficient while cruising through the city.

The total cost of components alone (excluding the donor bike £1485) exceeds £6,600, before even accounting for the significant labour involved in assembly, setup, and fine-tuning to achieve optimal performance. As such, this build represents exceptional value for its next fortunate custodian.
