Brompton 4-Speed P Line Urban. Excellent condition & lighting & 5-speed upgrade

This is a Brompton P Line Urban folding bike in black, a British-made steel frame with titanium forks and rear triangle that keeps the overall weight down compared to the standard C-line model. The bike is less than two years old, well-maintained, and in excellent condition throughout. It folds compactly for carrying on trains and storing in tight spaces, making it practical for commuters who need to combine cycling with public transport.

The drivetrain has been upgraded to a 5-speed setup using BrommiePlus internals fitted into the standard Brompton shifter, paired with a Shimano 5-speed cassette and XTR chain. This gives a noticeably expanded gear range compared to the factory 4-speed configuration, though it's fully reversible if you'd prefer to revert to the original setup. The upgrade has only covered minimal miles. The bike uses caliper brakes with recently replaced Brompton-specification pads that have plenty of life remaining. Tyres are the same model as the original but with brown sidewalls, and they've been swapped out as part of the regular maintenance.

Integrated lighting is built in without interfering with the fold. A CatEye G-volt60 USB rechargeable light sits at the front with a car-like low beam cut-off that avoids dazzling oncoming riders while directing light where it's needed on the road. The rear uses a Busch & Muller 2C with USB charging and B&M's lineTec technology, plus a Z-reflector to improve visibility to following traffic. The low handlebars are fitted as standard for this model. The only cosmetic wear is minor scratching at the very base of the black seat post, which is typical for this type of bike and doesn't affect function.

Collection in person is preferred, with the seller willing to travel a reasonable distance from Oxford to meet. Insured courier postage is available at the buyer's cost. All original 4-speed components are included with the sale.
