Brompton 4-Speed P Line Urban Excellent condition integrated lighting 5-speed upgrade Brompton 4-Speed P Line Urban Excellent condition integrated lighting. Low handlebar. Excellent condition, a really well looked after and serviced bike by myself. Purchased new less than 2 years ago from Brompton via Warlands cycles in Oxford. This bike benefits from integrated lighting that does not interfere with the fold. Front lighting is Cateye G volt60 that features a usb rechargeable battery and car-like low beam cut off to avoid dazzling other road users and put the light where it’s needed; on the road in front of you! Rear lighting is Busch & Muller 2C USB; features B&Ms ‘lineTec’ technology and includes a rear Z-reflector making you more visible to following vehicles. Tyres have been replaced with the same model, with brown sidewalls. Brake pads recently replaced with the correct specification Brompton pads- plenty of service life left. 5-Speed gear upgrade from BrommiePlus, accomplished with new 5-speed shifter internals in the standard Brompton shifter, 5-speed shimano cassette and XTR Shimano chain. Very few miles on this setup. Looks like it came this way from the factory, but gives usefully expanded gear range. It’s totally reversible if for some reason you prefer 4-speed and all the removed 4-speed parts will be included. Condition of the bike is excellent, as shown in the pictures. The black seat posts tend to scratch up quickly, however as the photos show there is only scratching at the very bottom of the post. Titanium front fork and rear triangle plus lightweight gearing of the P-Line make this quite a bit easier to carry on public transport- easy to lift onto a train luggage rack for example compared to the C-line model. I would prefer collection in person, I can travel some distance from Oxford to meet - to be agreed after sale. Or insured courier postage at buyers cost.
