Brompton 11-26T 6 speed M bar 8.7kg Carbon Extralite H&H Ti Parts Workshop Rapha

This is an Arctic Blue Brompton steel folding bike built as a well-rounded daily rider, engineered with high-end upgrades throughout to reduce weight and improve performance across a wide range of terrain. The frame weighs 8.7kg, making it lighter than Brompton's titanium P Line models despite using a traditional steel construction. The folding mechanism remains compact and reliable, with the joints in excellent condition and minimal play.

The bike runs a 6-speed external gearing setup with sprockets ranging from 11T to 26T, giving two additional higher gears compared to standard Brompton 4-speed setups. This extended range makes climbing easier and pushes out the top gear for faster rolling, without the weight penalty of internal hub gearing. The drivetrain uses ceramic bearings throughout the wheelset, bottom bracket, derailleur system, and headset, which means smoother shifting and lower rolling resistance compared to standard steel bearings.

The build incorporates a comprehensive range of titanium and carbon fibre aftermarket components selected for weight savings and durability. The M-bar handlebar is titanium from H&H Innovation with an ergonomic profile, paired with a 12k carbon fibre seatpost and Rapha Team Pro Cut Carbon saddle for reduced weight at the contact points. Frame hardware uses titanium bolts throughout the hinge clamps, rear suspension block, and stem connections. The headset is a Tange Japan sealed cartridge unit weighing just 83g, and the seatpost clamp is from H&H Innovation in black anodised finish.

Braking comes from Ciamillo B1 carbon callipers with Swiss-stop pads and Extralite Ultralever 3 brake levers in silver, offering strong modulation and reliable stopping power in wet and dry conditions. The transmission uses a TA Specialties 53T chainring paired with a Book Ghost 6-speed upgrade set, Book shifter, and Sram Red D1 chain. The pedals are Ti Parts Workshop aluminium with titanium axles and a quick-release mechanism. The wheelset is a Book Linglong 2-6speed set, wrapped in lightweight Velotto Champion Speed folding tyres at 165g each, with TPU inner tubes for puncture resistance.

The frame is free from rust and corrosion, with only minor storage and usage marks. Apart from the frameset, chainring, chain, and saddle, all other components are brand new. The bike is supplied with an original Brompton box and additional padding for protection during shipping, and collection is available from Romford RM1 or worldwide delivery can be arranged at the buyer's expense.
