Black Brompton Folding Bike - 2019 M-Type, 6-Speed - Excellent Condition

This is a 2019 Brompton folding bike in black, finished to a standard that's remarkably close to new despite being several years old. It's the M-type model with 6-speed gearing, which means it's built around Brompton's mid-range handlebar setup and a versatile transmission suited to commuting, city riding, and the sort of mixed urban journeys where a folding bike really proves its worth. The steel frame is classic Brompton—compact, rigid, and designed to fold down to a size that fits under a desk or into a train luggage rack without fuss.

Mechanically, this bike is in excellent condition. It's been used only twice and stored carefully, so everything runs smooth and responsive as you'd expect from a Brompton. The 6-speed transmission handles urban hills and flat stretches equally well, and the 16-inch wheels are nimble in traffic. Side-pull caliper brakes provide reliable stopping power, and mudguards are fitted as standard, keeping spray off in wet weather. The upright riding position keeps you visible and comfortable during stop-start city cycling.

It comes with some genuinely useful upgrades already installed. The saddle is a brown Brooks Flyer, which softens over time and develops character with use. Paired with it are brown Brooks GP1 leather grips that feel supple in your hands. A Spurcycle bell is fitted—the kind that sounds proper without being annoying. Beyond the core bike, you get detachable front and rear lights, a black saddle cover, a black bike cover for storage, a transit carry bag, and a front bike bag. The condition is very good overall. There are minor scratches on one side of the saddle and one of the leather grips, visible in the images, but nothing that affects how the bike rides or functions.
