Selling my late father’s Bickerton which he owned from new, always loved and maintained, and was always stored inside.
I’ve cleaned it up, gears work, brakes work, tyres are cracked but hold air, but just rides very wobbly. From reading about these bikes, apparently they do take getting used to, it’s not for me but look fun for some nostalgic rides.
I think with this one, it’s in great condition considering its age but the headset is loose and probably needs a re-build which doesn’t look to hard a job but not for me, hence the cheap price.
I’ve said collection only (from Bishops Stortford near Stansted Airport) as postage is going to be silly and guessing upto half the price of the bike so if you’re reasonably local and fancy it, give it a go, otherwise message me and I’ll see if I can help.
I do travel to Poole on and off so may be able to help with delivery if you’re there or M3/northern M25 but do message me first please before buying to check I can help as I don’t want to drive more 5 miles off my normal route please!
