Bickerton folding bike

This is a vintage Bickerton folding bike from the 1980s, a period when the brand was making some of the lightest and most portable folding bicycles available. The Bickerton was designed with commuters and travellers in mind, offering genuine portability without the weight penalty of heavier folders. The frame is notably light for its age, which was a defining characteristic of Bickerton's engineering approach back then. It comes with its original bag, which means you get the carrying solution the bike was sold with originally.

The bike runs 3-speed gearing, simple and straightforward for everyday riding and gentle hills. It's been unused for some years but is in good working condition, so the mechanics are sound even if the bike shows its age cosmetically. You'll notice various marks and areas of fading across the frame and components, which is entirely consistent with a bike of this vintage that's been stored rather than ridden regularly. These marks are character rather than defects—they tell the story of a bike from a different era.

There are four bikes available. Collection only applies, so you'll need to arrange to pick it up. The buy-it-now price applies to each individual bike, though the seller is open to offers if you're interested in taking all four. This makes sense if you're looking to restore a vintage folding bike project or you've found a genuine piece of cycling history you want to keep on the road.
