ADULT TRICYCLE, SCOUT, FOLDING, 6 SPEED, 24 inch wheels, pre-loved

The Scout is a folding tricycle built around practicality and ease of use, with a sturdy steel frame and 24-inch wheels that give it a stable platform for short journeys and leisurely riding. The step-through frame design makes getting on and off straightforward, which is particularly useful for anyone who finds traditional bikes awkward to mount. The 6-speed gear system handles gentle hills and varying terrain without complexity, and the folding design means the trike takes up less space when stored indoors or in a shed.

This particular example has been used but well looked after. It was purchased in summer 2023 and covered nearly 100 miles before being carefully stored inside, so it remains in good condition. The seller has added a throttle to help with starting and wing mirrors for safety, both sensible additions for steady-paced riding. The original cover hasn't been used, so that's still in pristine condition if you need it.

The trike comes equipped with a rear basket for carrying shopping or kit, a bell, an adjustable seat to suit different riders, a pump, the throttle that's been fitted, and a heavy duty lock. There's also an offer of a helmet if you want it. One practical advantage of buying a pre-loved trike like this is that there's no assembly needed—it's ready to ride once you've taken delivery and made it your own.

The Scout works well for anyone looking for stable, accessible cycling without the learning curve of a two-wheeled bike, or for older riders who want a bit more security and comfort on their regular trips out. Short commutes, park rides, and leisurely spins around town are exactly what this trike is designed for.
