Adult folding aluminium bike used

This is a Bikes4U folding bike with a compact aluminium frame and 16-inch wheels, designed for practical urban riding and easy storage. The bike is used but in excellent condition, and it's available as part of a pair (each listed separately). Collection is required from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The aluminium frame keeps the overall weight manageable for a folding bike, and the 16-inch wheels make the bike nimble in tight spaces and easier to fold down into a compact package. The six-speed derailleur gives you enough range for typical commuting terrain without overcomplicating maintenance, and the side-pull caliper brakes offer straightforward, reliable stopping power. This combination of gears and brakes suits everyday riding well, whether you're navigating city streets or mixing cycling with public transport.

Folding bikes like this work well for commuters who need to store their bike in a small space or carry it onto trains and buses. The compact frame means the bike takes up far less room than a standard bicycle, making it suited to flat living or office storage. Day-to-day, the smaller wheels and folding design make it practical for stop-start urban riding, though you'll find it requires a touch more effort to maintain momentum on longer flat stretches compared to larger-wheeled bikes.
