2022 Brompton C Line 6 Speed Black Edition Folding bicycle - Test Ridden Only

This is a 2022 Brompton C Line folding bike in the rare Black Edition finish, built in December 2021 but barely used. It's been test-ridden only a handful of times, covering minimal miles, and remains in almost immaculate condition throughout. The frame is Brompton's characteristic steel construction with an M-size mid handlebar stem, finished in gloss black, and the mechanicals have all been checked over and are in perfect working order.

The Schwalbe Marathon Racer tyres still have new tread with visible centre lines and bobbles, and both brake pads are unworn. The wheel rims remain shiny silver and flat. The saddle and soft rubber handlebar grips show no wear whatsoever, looking as new. The brakes are smooth and sharp, shifting smoothly through the 6 speeds via a 3-speed Sturmey Archer BWR hub and 2-speed derailleur combination using the latest underbar shifters.

The bike comes complete with a front frame-fitted Brompton luggage block, a frame-fitted tyre inflator pump, reflectors all round, and an integral Ping bell. The 16-inch wheels and centre-pull caliper brakes are standard Brompton fare, and the steel frame with hub gears is what you'd expect from the British manufacturer's reputation for durability and simplicity. At this condition level, you're looking at a bike that's been barely touched since it left the factory, with all the day-to-day commuting or urban riding capability intact and none of the cosmetic wear you'd normally see on a used model.
