I have owned this Brompton since new. No other owners. Used for my daily commute for several years but stored in a bag in a cupboard a lot of the time.
The Good…
* Complete, nothing missing.
* No dings or dents.
* Generally rides well.
* Brakes sharp and responsive
* Clamps all function well.
* Folds and unfolds beautifully.
* Schwabe Marathon Plus tyres - Hugely puncture resistant and never had a flat with these.
* Nice Brooks Saddle that just gets better with age
* Includes lots of extras (see list below).
The Bad…
* Bike has been in storage for some time and would benefit from a routine service. The 3-speed gears would benefit from adjustment and the front wheel has a slight rub, which appears to be caused by the inner tube not seating perfectly in the tyre. Sold as described.
* Lots of age related marks e.g cable rub, marks around clamping areas. Most of these will not come out/clean up.
* Needs a good proper clean/degrease
Extras include
* Original bag frame that mounts on fitted block
* Original Saddle
* Original paperwork and manual
* X4 unused inner tubes
* Brown leather carrying handle
Collection only from Milton Keynes
