20" Folding Bike Adults Bicycle Lightweight Alloy Bicycle Folding City Bike
This 20-inch folding bike is designed for adults between 1.4 and 1.9 metres tall who need a compact, portable cycle for urban riding and mixed-terrain use. The frame uses a carbon steel and aluminium alloy construction, finished with paint baking and argon arc welding for durability, and folds down to 80 by 58 by 35 centimetres, making it practical to store in a car boot or small flat. At 12.65 kilograms, it's light enough to carry when needed but substantial enough to feel stable underway.
The bike sits on 20-inch tyres with rubber construction that absorbs vibration reasonably well on rougher surfaces like gravel or muddy paths. A six-speed drivetrain handles moderate hills and varied terrain without requiring constant gear shifting, though it's not designed for serious climbing or long-distance touring. The braking system pairs a front caliper brake with a rear holding brake, providing adequate stopping power in most conditions. Both wheels are fitted with mudguards, which keeps spray and dirt contained during wet weather riding.
The seat height adjusts from 75 to 93 centimetres and the armrest height from 97 to 113 centimetres, allowing riders within the specified height range to find a reasonably comfortable riding position. The seat itself uses PU surfacing over a sponge cushion, designed to distribute pressure evenly during longer rides. Armrests feature rubber wrapping for grip, and pedals are enlarged with PC construction to give more stable foot placement. The bike comes largely pre-assembled, with remaining components and fasteners included alongside an installation diagram.
The fold mechanism uses an aluminium clip system for quick and straightforward collapsing. Once folded, the bike occupies significantly less space than its full-size equivalent, making it suited to commuters who combine cycling with public transport or anyone working with limited storage space. The maximum weight capacity is 90 kilograms, keeping it within practical limits for everyday adult use. Day-to-day, the bike handles urban stop-start riding adequately, though the smaller wheel size means it requires slightly more effort to maintain momentum on longer flat stretches compared to larger-wheeled bikes. It works best for shorter journeys, leisure riding, and situations where portability is more important than outright performance.
