2 x Brompton Folding Bike 3 Speed Black Need service.

This is a pair of Brompton folding bikes in black, each equipped with three speeds and built from steel. They feature 16-inch tubular tyres, mudguards, side-pull caliper brakes, and hub gears operated via thumb shifters. Bromptons are British-made and designed around a compact lateral fold that reduces each bike to a package small enough to carry onto trains or store in a flat. These are the kind of bikes that commuters and city riders rely on for mixing cycling with public transport, or for anyone who needs a practical bike that doesn't demand much storage space.

Both bikes have been in storage for some years and have been lightly cleaned and oiled. The tyres have been pumped up. There is some surface rust and paint pitting visible on the frames. One bike may need a new chain and possibly work on the gear mechanism, but both are mechanically sound and rideable. They are being sold as seen and would benefit from a proper service to get them back into regular use—the kind of work a local shop could handle without difficulty. The hub gears and caliper brakes are straightforward to service, and Brompton parts remain widely available. For someone looking to restore a pair of proven commuter bikes or wanting to get into folding bike cycling without spending new-bike money, these represent solid machines with plenty of life left in them.
